Hi everyone. Truly Judy’s Uncommon Oldies takes us to CKLW, 800 AM, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to their Radio 80 survey from the fall of 1964.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My survey artists, The Orlons, were formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1960. Len Barry, the lead singer of the Dovells, was a high school friend who encouraged them to audition with Cameo Records, and the group was signed after several auditions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between 1962 and 1963, the group\u2019s records, The Wah Watusi, Don\u2019t Hang Up, South Street, Not Me and Cross Fire! all charted in the Top 20.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the CKLW Radio 80 survey in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, in the fall of 1964, at #12, here is Goin\u2019 Places, by the Orlons, a nice B side of their record Knock! Knock! (Who\u2019s There) and on the Cameo label.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
